The resonant sound of the gong symbolises the cosmic rotating force of the universe, also known as AUM or OM. The resonance of the gong is created by layer upon layer of sound that blossoms into a ‘sound envelope’ around you, allowing you to enter a deep state of relaxation and a Theta brainwave state (deep meditation state). The vibration of the gong moves through the chakras, releasing stagnant energy in the physical, emotional and energetic bodies.
Deep relaxation in community with others, allowing your body to receive the healing sound vibrations of the gong. In these sessions I use gongs, tibetan singing bowls, chimes and other instruments to create a space for deep relaxation and peace. As you allow the vibrations of the gong to move through you, you access theta brain wave state which is considered to be the 'gateway to the subconscious'. It is in this space between awake and sleep that your body is able to release tension and stuck energy on both a physical and emotional level.
All you need to do is arrive, lay down, and surrender to the sound waves.
