Nutritional therapy aims to address your health symptoms from the root cause and increase your 'vitality' and wellbeing. It can help with a wide range of long term health conditions, digestive complaints, and mental and emotional disorders. A full list is too long to post here but here are some of the most common complaints seen in my practise:
I believe that every body is unique and therefore there is no 'one size fits all' solution to feeling in fine health. I start by asking you to complete a health questionnaire and food diary; this provides me with a wealth of knowledge about your unique health journey. In the initial consultation we dig a little deeper into your health history, symptoms and what you would like to achieve; I will then offer you information and insight into the possible root cause of your symptoms and provide you with a detailed therapy plan. Nutritional therapy plans often include suggested changes to your diet, lifestyle and natural supplements. The plans are grounded in evidence based research alongside teachings from Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Herbal Medicine. Functional testing may be recommended (at additional cost) to give us further insight into your symptoms, but this is not essential and depends very much on you, the client. Follow-up appointments will be suggested on an individual basis, dependant upon what it is we are addressing and what you want to achieve in terms of your health goals.
